In the early 1990's, senior officers at the police traffic branch of Western Australia Police Force explored the feasibility of creating a police drag car aimed at breaking down perceived barriers between police and our youth.
Holden Australia generously donated a 1990 Pre-Production model VQ Holden Statesman to the Program. This vehicle remained in operation until 2003 when it was replaced by the existing VT HSV Commodore currently on display.
